Dear friends, what a blessing it is to serve the Lord wherever He has placed us! I am so very blessed to be able to bring you this update from the United Kingdom.
Bible College
This past semester we were blessed with 34 students representing Canada, England, Ireland, Wales, Israel, Mexico, Nepal, Peru and the USA. Please pray for them as some will be returning and others will move on to different things. Pray for the Lord’s perfect will for the upcoming fall semester.

Paphos Outreach
Part of the Bible college experience is Outreach Week where students take a break from studies and head out to various places to serve. This semester I led a team to Cyprus where we came along side of Calvary Paphos and assisted with some of their ministries and projects around the church. In addition to serving at the church, we were able to tour some of the archaeological sites associated with Paul’s first missionary journey including the ancient harbor and the ruins of the hall where Paul’s encounter with Sergius Paulus (Acts 13) likely happened. Praise God that there is a Calvary Chapel in Paphos that teaches through the Bible and is running a discipleship school. Cyprus is a very international island.
A Tragedy and a Wedding
Many of you will recall an antisemitic shooting that occurred at the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, DC on May 21, 2025. Yaron Lischinsky and his soon to be fiancé Sarah Milgrim were shot dead by a man who had traveled from Chicago to carry out the attack. Incidentally, Yaron’s brother Ben-Ami was one of our recent Bible college students here in York. Ben-Ami and Valeria (another one of our students) got married here at CC York just a few weeks ago. We were blessed to host his family for the wedding and it was a beautiful time of celebration. While grieving the loss of one son through antisemitism, the family embraces life and rejoices in the hope of Christ and this was beautifully displayed at the wedding. Yaron and Ben-Ami’s father Daniel is a Spirit-filled Messianic believer and tour guide in Israel. He has a desire to speak in churches about antisemitism and its very real effects as the Lord opens doors. He gave a powerful message at CC York the Sunday after the wedding.
Holy Island
I will be heading up to Holy Island (Lindisfarne), one of my favorite places, for a personal retreat in a few weeks. It is a small island off the Northumberland coast that gets cut off from the tide about twice a day. There are about 150 year round residents and it was one of the earlier places where Christianity took root in Britain. I stay at a small Christian retreat center called Marygate House. When I was living in the USA, I had places I liked to go to periodically to pray and seek the Lord such as the mountains in Pennsylvania and spots along the Jersey shore and so when I moved to England I asked the Lord to show me some places and Holy Island was an answer to that prayer. The retreat house affords the opportunity to share meals with other Christians and the setting is lovely with fields of grazing sheep, Lindisfarne Castle, walking paths and rocky coastline. It’s become a familiar place that I like to return to as the Lord permits.

Evangelism
The Lord regularly opens doors for myself and others to share the Gospel in York and other places. Please pray that the Lord would use our words and that His Spirit would continue to work in drawing the people we’ve shared with. The fields are white and people are listening.
CC York
The Lord continues to bless our church and the many ministries taking place each week. We are blessed with quite a cross section of British and internationals coming from many different walks of life. Praise God for the work He is doing here in York!
